'I do a lot of in-person or online studio visits. There are no ideal situations ⏤ barring a noise-free room!

In this ACT Meets, I want to share a list of recurring positive and negative aspects of visiting artist studios that I have compiled over the past two decades; they range from the narrative build-up to time management.

I will provide insights and methods you can use to present your work while keeping in mind the curator’s profile the next time you have a studio visit.'

Session structure

First part:  Presentation and Q&A.

5 minutes break.

Second part:  participants will do a (fun) group exercise in breakout rooms and present the results to everybody. Feedback, discussion, and Q&A will follow.

Register here.

Please allow up to two hours for this session. This edition of the ACT Meets is for ACT Alumni and current participants only.
