THE SERIES

Unspoken Rules of the Art World encourages participants to challenge the unspoken beliefs they carry with them, which can limit, rather than expand, an artist's experience of themselves and their creative process.

Featuring four short courses ⏤  Identity, Authority, Success, and Creating  participants are encouraged to act beyond limiting beliefs and pursue opportunities for their art practice that today feel unachievable. Each course lasts two weeks.

The sessions are open to participants across the globe and allow a diverse range of artists from different backgrounds to participate in all four courses or select the ones most relevant to them.

APPLICATIONS

We invite all visual artists, curators, and creative practitioners around the world interested in participating in Unspoken Rules of the Art World to apply through our website. All successful applicants will have their tuition fees sponsored by the SÛ Collection.

To make contemporary practices more visible, with passion as its driving force, the SÛ Collection has been a keen supporter of ACT! since 2021, offering grants for artists to participate in 'Getting It Across: Communicating Your Art Practice.' This year, they have strengthened their support with 'Unspoken Rules of the Art World'.

A spokesman for the collection said: 'Buying art is a wonderful way to support artists and galleries. But the opportunity of education and allowing someone to be more confident can have a more lasting effect. We are thrilled to be involved in this special project, and hope participants embrace this opportunity wholeheartedly.'
